final fantasy x help please
#1
im new in this site, and its the first time im playing a pcsx2 emulator.. ffx was fine up until the part where i was in the Al Bhed home where they were having a conversation about yuna and her pilgrimage, then the emulator just crashes..

btw, it sometimes crashes when Dona is speaking.. but it ALWAYS crashes when Lulu is speaking..

here are the things i tried out
-tried the original cd i got from my friend
-tried the iso copy of that cd again
-lowered the video settings/changed video plug-in from GDXS(something like that) to Zero
-i even changed the config/advanced Clamp Mode set to highest that i found on one of the threads
-switched bios
-downloaded an ISO copy from torrent

none of these worked.. i do not know what i am doing wrong.. please help me out on this one.. i mean this game has been my frustration since it was released because i dont have a ps2, and i just got an emulator right now.. so please Laugh

Did you try searching the forum? Since this has been answered about one billion times.
You need to use the latest 1888 beta and set clamping to full in CPU->Advanced
