What speedhacks do you have enabled? VU Cycle Stealing, etc?

Just noticed you have a Core Duo meaning laptop. What power profile are you using? Also, are you running on batteries or plugged to the wall?

I've forgotten the power profiles with XP are pretty limited. I'm just so used to Windows 7 which allows relatively fine processor state management. When my laptop's running on battery, it automatically limits max CPU to 50%.
Will have to look at my settings when I get home. I seem to recall running the game without any speedhacks on my Celeron E3300 3.33 GHz Wolfdale, though. Hmm, have you tried setting EE Cycle Rate to 1 with VU Cycle Stealing at 1 or 2?

if anyone has a similar system to me could you post up your settings and i can replicate them?
also when pcsx2 is uninstalled is there any config or settings files left behind?
was thinking i could start fresh and see what happens

Hmm, what D3D internal res or scaling are you using?
