frame limiting weirdness

hey guys!
after downloading the latest gsdx plugin i realised that tenchu games are playable now (without the graphic bugs). but i cant get it fullspeed when frame limit is enabled. the weird thing is that if i disable the frame limit, im getting about 80fps ingame! same thing with tekken 4 and 5.
in normal mode im getting 120fps and the music plays way to fast.
is there any way to fix it?

my specs:
e6850 @3ghz
8800 gt
2gb ram

what config do you have for gsdx?

Are you using speedhacks by any chance? they may lie about framerate sometimes.
