Or instead of re-ripping it to an ISO, you can convert the DMG file you have to an ISO from the Terminal like this:

cd /path/to/file
hdiutil convert file.dmg -format UDTO -o file.iso

Replace "file" with the actual file name and it should convert it to a file named "file.iso.cdr." Get rid of the .cdr so it just has the .iso extension and everything should work.

As far as I know you can't run a game straight from a DVD using the Mac version (though I could be wrong on this one). Just use the Linuzappz plugin and run the game from an ISO file.
