Have you tried using an iso instead but if so is it a burnt dis or ps2 disc?

its a ps2 disc haven't tryed iso.can i copy disc to hdd to run?

yeah you can then use a program to combine into iso(ultraiso)
and then conifgure ur pcsx to use it

Once you created the iso you should run it from pcsx2 from File>run iso image.And then you choose that image then hit ok and thats all

That's only on he beta, on the PCSX2 0.9.6 release you have to use Linuz ISO cdvd plugin. For the current error running from Disc you have to configure Gigaherz or P.E.Op.S cdvd plugin pointing them to the right drive.

I recommend you use ImgBurn if you want to make the ISO.
