my pc has 8gb ram, an i7 cpu, and a gtx 1050ti (and i made sure the emulator is using this gpu and not the intel one) and the max speed i can run games at is 50%. i am using the latest nightly (never used pcsx2 before this)

for context i can run the 2018 god of war game perfectly on this computer so ik somethings gotta be going on

im just tryna play some sly cooper, if someone could pls help me out id really appreciate it, im new to this.

FYI, God of war wasn't out in 2018.
Or you're comparing native pc gamin with emulation

What are your exact specs ? "An i7 CPU" is too vague
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS

sly cooper can be really heavy, especially on gpu.
Are you using native resolution ?
Also, please post the emulog.txt
- tools->enable file logging
- run the game, play a few minutes
- close the game
- go to your pcsx2 folder/logs
- get the "emulog" file and post it here

I'd start by updating gpu drivers, then have a look at nvidia whisper mode (make sure it's disabled)

alright drivers are up to date and whisper mode seems to be off, still running the same tho :/
