gsdx - snowblind half screen info

You can implement the code to stretch the small full frame out to fill the window. I did that (can't remember exact details) but it's not really a solution because what you end up with is full screen display but at half horizontal resolution (i.e. 640 pixel source squashed down to 320 pixel and then scaled back up to 640).

OK, but I'm not a coder so I don't know how to do that things, I'm asking if there's a simple way to do that (like a .pnatch file maybe), anyway you can use the GSDX to set an horizontal resolution of 1280px obtaining at the end the original 640px, right? Maybe this way you waste some GPU power but if makes the game playable such hack would be better than nothing until a good fix is done.

Why?
It requires a major changing in the code of the GSDX plugin and you don't want to do it twice?
It doesn't work correctly (with other problem from the known one I mean)?
A complete fix is planned/you are working on it?

Because if there will be no fix for months, I'd rather stick with hacks and workaraound, I always wanted to play Baldur' Gate on PCSX2.
