2ghz is very low for GoW 2.
I guess overclocking and using vu cycke stealing set to moderate may help a bit.
but don't expect playable speeds with that pc
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go
hi i completed the game and on high speed (with speed hacks and frame skipping ) but the only thing that i have the same hardware but my cpu is better Closedeyes so you wiil have aplayable speed almost highBiggrin but use my configuration Cool

i think is very low my configurations because when i run appers your computer may have insufficient resources or incompatible hardware/drivers
i am playing god of war 2 but,it is running too slow

processor core 2 duo 2.93 Ghz with 3mb l2 cache
vga card nvidia geforce 8400 gs 512 mb
2 gb ram
and biostar g31d motherboard with 256mb inbuild graphics

i dont know how to configure, can anyone help me,please.
with that gpu you can forget playing that game and probably most of the games (except 2d ones) even on native res
OS: Win 7 Ultimate x64 sp1, MoBo: Asus P5QD Turbo, CPU: Q6600 @ 3,0Ghz, RAM: Trancend 2x2gb 6-6-6-18 800 MHz, GPU: HD 4850 1gb.

384x384 will work on the 8400 GS. anything higher lags it badly (even native)
i tried but it is less than quarter res of native,
i am getting 45-55 frames but sometime it is getting low even sometimes its only 28 fps on native res

No... native is related to the game's internal resolution which is usually around 512x448, you must be thinking your display's resolution which is different.
