Did you try to read the dvd on your ps2 ?
Tried using gigahertz dvd plugin with your original dvd directly ?

You don't need to mount it on a virtual driver (the Daemon tools there), you should read the ISO directly.

Try "Iso Selector" under the GUI "CDVD" tab, browse the ISO... make sure to have "Iso" marked in that same window and not "Plugin". Once it is done, go to "System" tab and chose "Boot CDVD (Fast)"

Edit: If already doing so disregard the above.

I know, was just a guess. If he's not trying to read from plugin a mounted ISO it may mean his dvd (disc or drive) is dead or dying, since he stated have tried to burn the image from several different applications already.
