Two thumbs up for that Acer. I'm not sure why you wouldn't want an Acer, as I've had nothing but good experiences with them, but I'm sure you have your reasons. Smile

Here's the alternative. You most likely are not going to find a cheaper price/better deal than that Acer at $800, when you consider the performance (for PCSX2).
The acer was the only one at $800 with a decent screen(1600x900) and good specs.

any other suggestion with 14" screen?

if there is no other choice, i'll stick with the one with 310m/hd 5145
is that enough to to get a good fps on ffx, x-2,xii?

I simply will not recommend either of those cards for PCSX2. They are weak in general and do not compare to the HD 5650 or GT 335M you could get for the same price.

This offers the same level of performance as the Acer for the same price. It also has a smaller screen. You like that, right?

But if it's 14" or nothing, you could consider this. It costs more and has a bit lesser specs. 14" though... Something you should bare in mind; a smaller laptop is usually going to have weaker hardware and also has a higher chance of running hotter.

Processor 2,4GHz Intel Core i5 450M
Memory 2GB DDR3
Hard drive 500GB
Chipset Intel HM55
Optical DVD Supermulti
Graphics Nvidia GT325 1GB, 128 bit
OS Windows 7 Home Premium
Screen size 14" HD LED 1366 x 768

is this good enough?
because asus k42jv isnt available in my country
looks fine to me CPU is middle-entry and GPU a little bit think it will be enough to run FFX.
and don't forget to buy a laptop cooler..
Main Hub:i5-4670(3.4Ghz Factory Clocked),ATi Radeon HD7770(GDDR5+128-bit+1GB),Win 10 SL(x64),ASUS H8M-E,8GB DDR3 RAM
