looking for an RPG...
#1
hi all, lets see if you can help me finding an RPG of my style:

i like:

jobs customization (like FFV or blue dragon)
direct control over crit/miss (shadow heart, lost odyssey)
anime cutscenes
action fights (valkirie profile, tales of...)
quick time events

i dont like:

just turn oriented, no real "action" (ff7 and before)
tactics style (disgaea, FF tactics)
too many sidequests
little control over skills/magic learning
backtracking or slow travel to one zone to the other

any ideas?

thanks

So you're looking for action oriented RPG?
Try Star Oean 3, Grandia 3 or any of the "tales" games.

Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 1&2
Radiata Stories
These three dont' have anime cutscenes.
The only game I can think of and fit all that is FF12 international(the Zodiac job system version )

then i put it again on want list

questiona bout persona 4: ive been into it for a couple hours (2nd murder, after the first TV world visit)

is it always like this? 99% story, almost no battles? its like an adventure game more than an RPG...
