Ace Combat series are the more demanding games - with my i5 4670k 3,4Ghz I get 60 fps in HUD view but in external View the fps drop sometimes down to 40 fps (depends which level you play)

Also I found out that MTVU speedhack makes Ace Combat 4 a bit slower - but could be a side effect of the number of software threads.

the pal (E) version has a fps cap at 50 with the ntsc (U) version has 60

if you have the 2 regions of that game
best to use the "PAL" version its consume less CPU/GPU than NTSC.

I'm currently in Mission 8 of Ace Combat 4 (Bad Weather Attack on the Beach Mission)
Now I'll get even in internal view only 55fps :-( i5 4670 CPU is working in Turbo Mode @ 3,6Ghz

So I'll assume fullspeed would be possible somewhere @4Ghz in all situations
