low fps on most wanted

Hi...

i tried to play NEED FOR SPEED : CARBON on pcsx2 but it gust freezes at the loading screen at the stat...Mellow

and the FBS is : around 60-58 and changing...Rolleyes

some info you may need:-Smile


Intel® Core i5 Series Dual Core i5-430M 2.26GHz 3MB L2 Cache 1066MHz FSB Processor, 4096MB DDR3-1066 SO-Dimm Memory (2x2048), DVD Super Multi Double layer optical drive, 500GB SATA 5400rpm Hard Drive, 15.6" WXGA HD 1GB dedicated graphics

and this is my configures...

GS: GSdx SSE41 0.1.16

SPU2: SPU2-X r3117 1.4.0

CDVD: cdvdgigaherz r(3006) 0.8.0

If you checked the compatibility list you would see the game listed as status "Intro" so that's perfectly normal.

no need for new thread ...

i got low fps on my computer and my friend have a much worse computer but he is playing normaly...

speed hacks: no gain

another GS plugin : no gain

what should i do?

weak cpu, weak GPU. don't expect miracles
checking native in gsdx internal res should help a bit
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS

then tell me why it is running on this and not maine?

i mean its AMD and mine is intel...

i guess the main difference is its gpu...
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

for me vu cycle stealing set to 2 gives a MASSIVE performance boost

i got about 25fps without and about 50fps at 2
Intel 486 DX33 33Mhz
8MB EDO Ram
S3 Graphics Trio64V+
Windows 95
Running MGS3 Snake Eater fully playable @ 0.05 fps

That's a pretty slow CPU.

@dark fang.. all cpu for you is slow.. i never see you telling.. "dude u have a good cpu to run games keep it up" ... well

as you can see riden... your i5 is not overclock.. and i series up to 5 is a beta test for the cpu... well they able to finish thee i3 and i5 so they decided to launch it on public.. but never the less.. the i7 is the completely enhance and develop cpu in our generation.. so better get an i7 rather than i3 to i5 cpu
