low fps playing Tales Of Symphonia
#1
Hello I've been trying to mess around with the settings but I really have no idea what I'm doing. My fps is around the 30s where theres animations, I managed to get a good 60 fps with good audio but the game is realllllyy slow. I don't really know what to do. Also there's the vertical black lines, which I don't really mind I just want good FPS

My computer specs should be good enough for it o.o .

XP SP3

CPU TYPE:
Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz
CPU SPEED (GHZ):
3.02
SYSTEM MEMORY (GB):
3.25
VIDEO CARD MODEL:
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX
VIDEO CARD DRIVER:
nv4_disp.dll
DESKTOP RESOLUTION:
1280x1024
HARD DISK SIZE (GB):
244.14
HARD DISK FREE SPACE (GB):
162.67

Any help would be truly appreciated Laugh

Very demanding game.
You'll have to use hacks and probably some frame skip as well to play it.

I am having the same problem as well. I have very similar specs to killablink so perhaps it is just not meant to be at this time. Any help would be most welcome. In the meantime I will try to figure it out myself.
