major video glitch and slow gameplay in FFX. Need help!
#1
Hey, I recently copied my FFX game to an .iso on my computer and was attempting to run it using pcsx2.0.9.4. I spent some time orientating myself with the program, the forum, and help pages and then configured pcsx2 as best i could.

The game itself was running fairly slow (~75%), and I had to turn on the fps limiter to make the ingame menus usable (they were running so fast that selection was almost impossible). Eventually i got to where the game wasn't perfect, the sound and voice skips and everythings is a little too slow, but i thought it would be playable. Then I got to a FMV movie sequence. My fps immediately dropped to below 30% (~10FPS), but worst of all the screen began to flash like a strobe light making the video impossible to watch.

I checked the forums but couldn't find anything relating to this. Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Wow, the video ran PERFECTLY! You have no idea how thankful i am! The sound still stutters though, which can get annoying especially during dialog. Any suggestions for the smoothest audio?

Thanks again!

Since you are not getting full speed, audio won't be perfect either.I suggest you use ZeroSPU2 with time scaling enabled. That should provide good results
