pcsx2 1.0.0 on lubuntu 12.10 amd 64

i can't figure out how to install pcsx2 on lubuntu.
i have followed many online guides but nothing has helped.
can anyone help me out?
i have teamviewer.

One way is to install latest build from SVN here using the terminal.

svn checkout http://pcsx2.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ pcsx2-read-only

You will need 32bits version of dependencies. Multiarch has you covered for that.


An easier way for Ubuntu-ish users is to use the PPA. Open a terminal. Type..

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gregory-hainaut/pcsx2.official.ppa

Then...

sudo apt-get update

then...

sudo apt-get install pcsx2-unstable

Then type ' pcsx2 ' in your terminal and you are good to go. It should also show up in "games" in Lubuntu list.
