pcsx2 crashes when selecting direct3d11
#1
I'm trying to run pcsx2 1.0.0 in my laptop. Here are my specs and plugins used:
Operating System = Microsoft (build 9200), 64-bit (Windows 8)
Physical RAM = 3951 MB
CPU name = Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz
Vendor/Model = GenuineIntel (stepping 09)
CPU speed = 2.194 ghz (8 logical threads)
x86PType = Standard OEM
x86Flags = bfebfbff 7fbae3bf
x86EFlags = 28100000
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M (9.18.13.2723)
gsdx32-avx-r5350.dll
lilypad-r5350.dll
spu2-x-r5350.dll
cdvdGigaherz.dll
USBnull.dll
FWnull.dll
DEV9null.dll

When I select Direct3d11 in Video (GS) plugin settings, the emulator crashes. But when I select Direct3d9, it doesn't crash and the sound works fine but there's no video shown. I tried pressing F9 and doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Have you tried updating your directX? Might be the culprit.

The DirectX currently installed in my system is DirectX 11. Do I still need to update it?
