i start up my computer and the first thing that pops up is this ''this cpu does not support see 3.01'' after that pops up is the ee/iop recompiler failed to initialize processor doesnt support sse2. i dont know what to do i tryed it in 3 computers and said the same thing. this is what my log tells me. can come one plezz help me?? i dont now how old it is one of my dads frainds bilt it for use he belt a nother one for use and it runs a hell of a lot faster then this one. what so i need to do to get it working

If your computer doesn't at least support SSE2, you will not be able to run the emulator. Since your processor doesn't you are out of luck.

*edit* 1GHZ single core processor? How old is your PC, exactly?

Regardless, you aren't going to get the emulator running at anything approaching acceptable speeds on that machine.

is there anything i can do to make it go faster or do i just need a new up to date computer

Right now, you have 2 choices:
1) Buy a new computer.
2) Use your PS2.
If money is an issue, you should just stick with your PS2.

Actually im afraid you're screwed pretty much, the interpreter will work, but every game will be < 1fps. To make full use of the emulator you require SSE2. Also it looks like you're running an old version of windows with no NTFS support.

A decent PC, preferabbly an Intel Core 2 duo, is better for emulation. In performance, a desktop is better than a laptop.

But I take it you're using a pentium 3 right now? Ee God, I remember working on them, they didn't even have an IHS.
AMD Phenom II 940 @ 3.6GHZ, 4GB PC8500 @ 1100MHZ, 4870x2 @ Stock.
