firstly id check your cpu usage whilst the emu is running slowly to see if something is hogging the cpu in the background

have you had any luck with any of the older versions?

just out of curiosity what operating system do you have?
Not sure what graphics card you have, it's memory bandwidth,
it's temperature, fan speed, what pixel shader it has
try TechPowerUp's gpu-z

Not sure what your cpu is try cpu-z

btw, i got those sliders on 2 now and it's kinda faster, but fps goes from 48 to 75 to 90 and back so now it's from normal to slow to fast to normal back and forwards in sec.

Your gpu could also be struggling. Try software mode.
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)
(I am no longer a Windows user)
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258
GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti

Or try going to native while still staying in hardware mode and see if that boosts speed if so then its your gpu struggling. Try running GPUz and seeing it your gpu stays underclocked or not when running the emulator because that may be the cuase of this whole issue
