#1
Hi excuse the, I'm assuming, very repetitive question.

I just got pcsx2 and everytime I try to load Final Fantasy X, it crashes, only telling me that my .exe has stopped working.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit

Video card: Geforce 9800 GT
Processor: AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core
Memory: 4 Gigs ram

Hopefully thats enough info to be able to assist in helping me :/

I'm pretty noob to a lot of this :x

You have no Cdvd plugin so Im assuming your using the internal iso loader?
FFX is one of the most compatible games out there, if its not working your most likley missing something. Did you use the full installer?

Yeah I did, should I look to download a CDVD plugin from somewhere? I tried to get peops one, but it wouldn't show up in the drop down menu in the pcsx2 CDVD plugin list, only the default ones would

Are you trying to run from a disc or an iso?
If your running from a disc select gigaherz as your plugin, it should be included in the installer. Then go to the main page and make sure plugin is selected in the CDVD menu.
If running off an iso have iso selected from the main page CDVD menu.
