hi everybody
i have problems with my pcsx2 0.9.6
when i do the version using sse2 it isnt fast with 10-25 fps
and with ZeroGS i have 60 fps but i only hear the audio and i dont see anything exept a black screen
im playing the game:Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain Of Memories

I am having the same problem, both with ZeroGsKosmos and GSdx. Mind you, I have tried three different .iso files, All of which according to list somewhere, should be able to run. Here are my system specs:

I have tried three games: Shadow Of The Collosuss , Bully, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. The first plays, albeit at about 10-20 fps. The second one gives me a loading screen. The Third does not seem to play at all. I've tried several of the speed hacks, but with only marginal success(at improving frame rate.

Your PC barely meets the minimum requirements to run PCSX2. Your speed is normal, you need a new PC to run PCSX2 at good speeds.

So me and the OP are SOL until we upgrade our rigs? Oh well, back to Mass Effect for me.
edit: Would upgrading my memory help at all, or am I bottle-necked by GPU and CPU?

Actually your PC is many times faster than dragydof's. Your main bottleneck is your CPU but the GPU is slow too. You can try using GSdx and checking 'native' but the games you are trying are either very intensive (Shadow of the Colossus doesn't even run full speed on the PS2 itself) or incompatible.
You'll have better results with other games that work better/faster like FFX

upgrading memory won't help.

pcsx2 is mostly CPU dependant.

if i can upgrade my Cpu(cpu is youre prossesor right?)
