problems getting started

hi this is my first time useing pcsx2 got all the bios and set it up i think selected game throw iso and pressed reboot cd fast got a box's come up were i think the game should start and it stays blank might have do some wrong and could use some help pls

I hope for you you have another ps2, since this early model has bios compatibility issue.
If so, extract its bios and use it instead.

This game is reported as fully playable on 0.9.8, so I guess it'll be the same on 1.0.0
could you give it a try with your original DVD directly in your DVD reader ? To see if you dumped your iso well ?

But it's highly possible it's coming from the bios, unfortunately.
