problems playing kingdom hearts 2

hi i'm having problems trying to play kingdom hearts 2 on my pcsx2 1.2.1
when ever i open it it comes up with the playstation 2 start up but then just goes black, so i'm never getting past that.
can anyone help?

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

it's most likely a problem with the iso and/or disc.
