problems with NOT random crashing

hi, noob here. just got the 0.9.6 PCSX2 and all the bios and plugins needed. ive just started playing Grandia Xtreme ISO but in some battles, the game will crash, it ONLY happens in battles and sometimes wont happen for 20 minutes but sometimes happens every battle and when i restart the game.
any help would be awesome

yeah its all configured. i thought it might be the speed hacking but i ruled that out.
