"pspemu" a psp emulator in D does not work yet, but is interesting! 03.21.2010
#1
Here: http://code.google.com/p/pspemu/
from the Spanish coder soywiz still in progress and has pretty much only him working on it right now, no English forum at the moment either. (shadow asked if he wanted one on Emunewz (which shadow also maintains if I'm not mistaken)

so most of you might not be interested in this those who are, find probably emulation it self or the programming language D interesting

The D Programming language (wiki link) is a relatively new language influenced mostly by C/C++ and C#.

PS: this is the first emu written in D I've come across.

Awesome! An emulator that doesn't work! Tongue (jkg)
Seems interesting alright, if i understood a thing about coding Tongue Well, they gotta start somewhere right? But i'm glad to know someone's working on a psp emu since there isn't any decent one for now (that i know of at least) I might give it a try someday. ^^

decent upstarts are PCSP and JPCSP
jpcsp claims to rum more than 70 games which is more than a little IMO

It really depends on your/their definition of "running games" and "playable". Playing them at 20% real speed or with lots of graphic glitchs and stuff like that isn't really fun at all. But it's still playable Tongue
I have no ideia how those emus you described really work, never tried them, but i'm imaginning they're not as bad as I think they are Tongue

I haven't really looked into a psp emulator. I think my psp is still in my friends room anyways. I remember about a month ago there was a thread about the psp emu in java, I think that was jpsp. I think they ended up saying that pcsp is faster/more compatible though.

Also, first I have heard of D. I'll tell my friends to learn it lol

From what I heard, even Sony doesn`t have a 100% working emulator for PSP yet...
And if they did, they sure hide it well from public`s eye. It hasn`t leaked out as easy as the nintendo emulators.
