RE: redlof's Guide to Convert Codetwink Cheats to PNACH Files! for newbs.
CKemu said you don't need to include ANY codes that start with a 9 or an F. My experience with trying to add lines that start in a 9 or an F leads to crashes and console errors that aren't there when leaving the line out. Just an expansion on what Maestro said, it's basically the same deal. Tongue

Also, why did Codebreaker become Codetwink? Codebreaker was a totally fine name, but then they changed their name to that which represented young, toned, cock-loving gay men? What was the point?

click on add raw and paste the raw codes into it and hit enter. highlight the ones you put in and then click on enable/disable. then click on pnatch write and all you have to do is input a total comment and game name, will have the crc already in there. then restart pcsx2 and patches will work Tongue

also, codetwink.com does not make anymore new codes for the cheats section, for any new codes, go to the forums and user created codes, or just do a search on the forums for the game(s) your looking for.
i found that most codes that start with a 0 or 2 on the forums are already in raw and the other ones are not. and make sure you use common v7 decryption for any newer games on the forums and on the cheat section if it says needs cb 7+ , if it doesnt say that, then try without if the codes dont work.

That might work wonders for my patching problem, but the problem with that method is that every time I hit 'ESC' to create a Patch in the Browser, and when I try to 'Run' the emulation process again, it crashes the emulator.

GameFaq usually includes cheat codes for console games, and they don't seem to have to be converted either, that's where I get mine from.

thats why i said click on write as pnach and then restart pcsx2, it crashs for me to, not sure why.

also, redlof, omniconvert is free now, you just need to sign up for the website, http://www.codemasters-project.net/porta...l/news.php atm its the first post on the news to dl omniconvert. i think it works so much better then cb2crypt and it has more features.

PCSX2 can only load/unload patches at startup.

RE: redlof's Guide to Convert Codetwink Cheats to PNACH Files! for newbs.
OK I am having problems doing this.. it all seemed straight forward.. but pcsx keeps crashing when trying to load the pnach file..

gametitle=Mortal Kombat Armageddon [SLUS 21410] (U) [104F08F4]
comment=code for character
//unlock characters
patch=1,EE,F033AB8D,word,05BFF7A6
patch=1,EE,F7B2C44B,word,4488FA1C
patch=1,EE,083B9EA9,word,E844C688
patch=1,EE,3CFD6AB1,word,A7CE24C6

that is what is in my file..

These are the codes I am trying to get to work

Unlock Character Codes
Meat FAF15C35 149BDCBB
Blaze FDB6DD52 F0855E56
Taven 12E02B3E E844C688
Daegon 36A800F8 0B64A32E

what did I do wrong in the converting of the codes?
