ripping games help!
hey guys. i got an original tekkn 5 dvd but i cant rip it into an iso.

i use dvd decrypter (they said its the best) but when i try to decrypt it, it stops at 26% then errors. pls.

if you have other solutions for me, pls post them Laugh thx alot

Try imgburn, maybe that will work. This implies your disc is damaged, try cleaning it, although that won't do much if it's badly scratched.

my disc isnt badly scratched. just some few light ones.

same result Sad stopped at 26%. after waiting for 5 mins, reached 27% then came up with an error.

Sounds like a bad sector on your disc.

maybe. there are some scratches but they're very light. it worked well on our ps2 about a month ago.

is it legal if i rip my friends dvd?

when i see the error log in imgburn, its the TK5DATA0 that causes most of the errors.

It's not legal to copy someone else's disc, but if you have an original copy of your own I think you're OK. If they're light scratches though, you may as well take it to your local video rental store and see if they can repair the disc.

You can try ripping it with another DVD drive that might do better. It's illegal to rip your friend's disc unless you own it

Well if the legal problem is solved :
Try Alcohol 120% trail or so.
It has an option that is called ignore reading errors. You should be able to do it.

Yeah, use a CD plugin other than Linuz for that.
