save state files

i am having trouble finding save state files, since there are none in the dir folder. i had the same problem with memory cards though i eventually found some on these forums.

Huh? You create any save state,the emulator doesn't come with any included. Memory cards get automatically created on first run of the emulator

oh... my folders remain empty even after booting up some games.

as bositman said you create the savestates (when you are playing a game), and the memory cards gets created when you load pcsx2 for the first time (but you must format them like on a real ps2). Closedeyes

yes, but i get errors when i try to savestate, it says it cannot find file

what do you do to save state? (do you hit F1, or do you escape then go to the menu to save state?)

Press F1 to save state,F2 to change slot and F3 to load state.

probably you have to run pcsx2 as admin? Huh
