so after i install them i should be able to see the other plugins i put in to the folder? i cant even select the plugin at plugin selector

So how come you're using the 'newest PCSX2' as you said but you are still using 0.9.7 instead of 0.9.8....?

For the sake of anyone who comes across this thread when looking for a fix for these DoC issues.

The modified version of GSDX provided by shadow lady requires SDL.dll be placed in the pcsx2 folder, as this is not included with recent versions of the emulator (since the SDL Backend was removed from the windows version of GSDX.)
