'Not having problems' and 'runs them well' are two different things, and Intel's GPU chipsets aren't exactly known for performance.

Yeah but PCSX2 is not a PC game. So I don't know what does it have to do with anything...

30 fps in half life 2 says nothing

going 2.4ghz fixed it

I think all (PS2) games utilize Shaders 2.0. The emulator will not emulate with anythings less. Either way, your GPU sucks for PCSX2 in general (sorry). If you get what you consider playable speeds with SOME GAMES, that's awesome. Smile If you have troubles, it's likely hardware related, if not compatibility in general.

What are your PC's specs, anyway?

EDIT: Oh! My mistake. I new there was Half Life 2 for Xbox, I just assumed there was also one on PS2. If your comparing PC games to EMULATING PS2 games, you should not expect an accurate comparison.

As others noted: It's your slow graphics card.
To fix it, buy a new laptop with a dedicated 3d card.
