shining tear issue
#1
Hi all,

I encounter an issue when playing shining tear as below. Is this related to the disk? However, I can mount it to virtual driver.

I have this game too and it gives me the same error. It has nothing to do with your disc.
Use PCSX2 r1385 and it should work. Anything after this rev gives this error.

Thanks.

Is there any way to get r1385 PCSX2? do I need to compile it by myself?

It's frowned upon to link to unofficial beta builds of the emulator. If you want to use an SVN release, you are supposed to download and build it yourself and don't expect any help on the forums.

sorry about that i always tend to be too helpful, and i guess i should read the rules more.
BUT he asked where to get it and so i told him the site i know so he can solve his problem and believe me the builds there are non-toxic and not everybody has the time and patience to set up a compiler to compile the emu him/herself.

yup you are right. it is time consuming to compile it especially people have compiled it before.

Thank you very much andutrache.
