slow speeds

hey everyone

everytime i get to curtian points on my final fantasy X game using the pcsx2

my EE goes to 100%

so what settings do i need to fix in the pcsx2 config to stop that from happening

Hi boobysd,u'r pc specs are pretty good.if u're on computer,u can try to overclock u'r cpu a little more.if u're on a laptop,set clamping mode to none in both EE/IOP & vus in emulation setting.because it'll remove extra stress from u'r cpu.also u can try to end extra processes running in task manager,which u don't need.try recommended speedhacks & u can set EE cycle rate to 1 or 2.see what is the EE% after using speedhacks....Thanks!!! That means your cpu is struggling.
That said, it should be enough for ffx.
Enable recommended speedhacks +mtvu hack and set your windows power plan to high performance.

It's still high, but at least, it's not struggling.
