spinning icon demo

This is surely the most useless item here, but let's see how it turns out. It's homebrew after all, right?

The demo: a 3D pcsx2 icon, just spinning.

Inspired by the images (and a comment) from gigaherz's blog, along with my own boredom...

Looks like crap, I know.... Biggrin

If you know how to use the VU and can add some stars and sparkle 'n stuff, this can be used as a PCSX2 benchmark Wink

Thanks for the responses, guys.

As for getting fancy with effects, my dev skills are quite noobish in general (even more so with PS2).
But it would be really cool if I could pull off anything resembling that... I might give it a try. Laugh

The rotation effects could be more faster (spinning diagonal and all of a sudden flip! xD)
Just giving an idea Tongue

Not bad, I like it so far. To me, she's a good tester, ya know to measure the frame rate and how fast you can make it spin if you turn off the frame limit.

May this will be the right benchmark material the PCSX2 team are looking for. I examined it's suitable for GPU Benchmark and CPU Benchmark. Now waiting for the fancy delicate stars or something added to the demo until put it to benchmark.

This may cause unstable FPS which is a disadvantage for benchmark purpose if position is suddenly changed.
