[split] Star Ocean 3 configuration

I don't know if this is the right place to put this screen shot, but It's about Starocean speed. I got a huge speed boost with Gsdx 1.4 from 10fps (in Gsdx 1.13 and 1.14) to 45-60 fps !!!!

Edit: The version 1.0.7 is way better!! Now the speed is great!!

Thanks for this tip, Butz_san.
Yeah, it seems that current GSdx version have either a bug or an optimization that conflicts with this game.
Profiling showed that ReadPixel4 and WritePixel4 hogged the speed.
Overclocking your GPU helps then, but I'm already using a GTX260 Tongue2

Anyway, using GSdx 0.1.7 (not 1.0.7 Tongue2) completely fixes the slowdown spots.

Hmm, GSdx 1.7 is just as slow for me in those spots as the newer versions.
Either I'm doing something wrong, or the pal version is a bit different.

Same happens for me. During cutscenes FPS drops at 30-35 (from 45-50).

For me it runs great with v0.1.7, no slowdowns but I have only played it for around 45mins so far. The only issue is the slight graphical glitches, you can see different colored triangles on the ground in some places like might be spottable in the beach screenshot for example http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-2494-post...l#pid17718
