for the lines use 1200 x 1200 resolution

what plugin do you use for the gamepad?

Use 1280x1280 as MAX custom resolution. Any res bigger than that will give you black lines.
What do you mean with pad not working? All buttons? Tekken 5 is played with dpad, not with analogs if you set it correctly.

Thats not possible... TEKKEN5,with GSDX in hardware mode? I am 99% sure that i have tested all res of this kind(1200,1600,1920 etc.) and the MAX working fine is 1280...

It's a driver thing, works differently with Nvidia and ATI. Anyway you can safely use 1200x1200, 720x1280 and 1080x1920 (yes, inverted)

True. Mine works at 2560x2560 and some weird combinations like 1200x768. I'd make a list of which work but I guess it's driver specific.

Yep, you can also replicate similar differences in the xenosaga 1 lines on shadows, KrossX found they occured anytime after 1024xwhatver
i found they would appear after 1520xwhatever

sorry guys im totally useless when it comes to emulators.i downloaded the lilypad.dll and put it in the plugins folder.from the options i assigned the buttons to the pads. (for example i clicked "square" and then i pressed the "square" button of the pad, etc.) also can someone tell me the exact location where i change the resolution? i changed it many times but i think i did it wrong.thx and sorry for my noobness!
