Hello. le me be brief and not waste your time on a useless, If i could buy a new cd of the games I have, I would, but sadly, they are broke, so tried all way possible to play them but failed, so I set up for pcsx2 ?

I am able to play dot-hack gu, at least vol, but with slowdown, like, when I am in The City, approach area with many NPCS, or approach an ennemy.
I get 40-55 FPS' normally, sometimes get 60, but also fall to as low as 20, but never lower.

I have checks all possible speed hack and play in native resolution, I do not use frame skipping as it messed with my game.
I use direct3d9, cause direct3d10 cause some bug and is lower for some reason.

I would also like to know what does this mean
[wx] Failed to load shared library 'C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.2.1\Plugins\gsdx32-avx-r5875.dll' (error -1073741795: unknown error c000001d)
Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.2.1\Plugins\gsdx32-avx-r5875.dll
File is not a valid dynamic library.
Some kinda plugin failure: C:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 1.2.1\Plugins\gsdx32-avx-r5875.dll

But the main question is
IS my pc too weak to play those games ?
Host Machine Init:
Operating System = Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Physical RAM = 3884 MB
CPU name = Intel® Core™ i3 CPU M 350 @ 2.27GHz
Vendor/Model = GenuineIntel (stepping 02)
CPU speed = 2.260 ghz (4 logical threads)

I have an other laptop with Linux, and a bit newer, but still an asus too.

sorry, but that laptop is quite weak and even with speedhacks enabled it will be hard to play most games on that, try playing some less demanding games with it, and play demanding games in your ps2. if you want to play with pcsx2 because of upscaling graphics than it's better to get a new budget desktop build, take a look at my sig. where, i mentioned a low budget build for playing games at 3xnative...

am well. my Laptop has a a broken Battery anyway and his quite old, I figured it was too weak to play it.

Sadly, I can't play them in my ps2 anymore, other I would have waste hour on trying to play burned games, I though I could just create a back up a game and play those if my real game broke, but when it happened, well, I could not...
this is nothing surprising, I was excepting this,

I suppose linux or windows make no difference, I can accept windows 7, but windows 8, that i can't live with.

os makes no difference, it's just your hardware is weak, why dont you try building a new desktop...

You could play this. You will have big problems during the avatar battles. Been a couple years since I played it. WEll 50 fps isn't bad considering what you have. I know you can't OC to 3 ghz... You are not going to get much more out of it. You shouldn't have many problems in dungeons though..You will be spending most your time in those anyway..

this could play better than the previous one and it could play well at most games using speed hacks. Smile

Is mint pcsx2 compatible?
Is mint x64 pcsx2 compatible?

I guess at least x64 can be problematic.
