transparent sun in the GoW games with SW renderer

Here is a picture to show you what I'm talking about. This happens only in SW mode, HW mode does not exhibit this glitch.

There are alot of games that have simmilar issues with overlayed light sources on one of the video modes or even both. I think we are not sure what triggers that or fixing it would break something else.
