trying to play a game but cant HELP!!

hi ive just started to use this emulator but i cant use it it comes up with configuration and asks for a BIOS rom but when i get a rom its a disk image file anyone got the answer please and thanks

You have to dump the BIOS from your own ps2. The BIOS isn't the iso file you get from making a disc image from your game.

If you haven't dumped your BIOS yet here is a link to the utilities page.

okay i get that but im kinda confused say i've got the rom of starwars battlefront for example would i also need the ps2 game of it as well?

Yeah, you would need to make an iso from your disc using imgburn.

You can only use the image file you made from your game disc.

you can. but you need the original disc to dump one.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

of course.
but you'll need to extract the bios from your PS2 console too.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X

dump ur ps 2 bios and the original disc.
oh yeah may i ask something here?
are there any effect between playing the game with dvdrom and iso file?
