well that happens when i press configure on 1888. i can see all my plugins after i press ok edit them and games play just fine. what i have done is taken all the plugins and the .dll files (that are in the main folder of pcsx2) from the last svn's and used those at 1888. i have both v3 and v4 (latest of both) in the folder.

and the plugins:

(also in the 1st picture it says not responding but if u press ok all go to normal again no crashes etc)

Try deleting the files in the "inis" folder and configure it again. This happened to me once.I think thats how i fixed it...or did i reinstall pcsx2?! Laugh
Or get another w32pthreads.v3.dll file

You're using SVN plugins, you should be using these along with the PCSX2 SVN. No point in using the old 1888 beta with them.

i do it to being able to play some games that work faster with 1888 and i though if the plugins u post (like march ones) are ok then those are ok but maybe they are not as it seems!

Hmm. Is it really faster if we used the plugins from SVN ? If it's, I want to try and see the improvement. Well, I think Bositman means plugins for SVN weren't meant for pcsx2-r1888 (not compatible, in short)

So SVN plugins are no good to r1888?

Most SVN plugins should work fine with r1888 as long as the right pthreads dlls are in place. I'm not entirely happy with the pthreads dependency, but it's generally unavoidable due to the way MSWindows is designed.

SPU2-X and GSDX are the only plugins that use the pthreads dlls right now.
