my lap top spec

windows visita home premium
intel core 2 centrino duo T7200 (2.0ghz x2)
2x1 gb ram at 699 mhz
160 gb HDD at 5400 rpm
ATI radeon mobility X1700 512mb @ 400mhz

it runs at speed at final fantasy X
30 to 50 frames

i have the pcsx 0.9.4 and the pcsx playground
which version is beter?

What do these program use most GPU, CPU, or DVD?

(when i use ver 0.9.4 my core goes to 100 % usage, when i use playground its only 60 %)

what would you recomend to me so it runs at 60fps (invidia gtx 9800 ?)

thankyou

As FFX is more CPU dependant, your cpu's a bit weak to run it @60fps.
Anyway what you should do is use gdsx as gfx plugin and set the internal res to native. This could help

pcsx2 uses cpu/gpu, but trying to run your game from the DVD will result in bad fps anyway. (It's far better to make an iso)

About the best version : try with PP version once you've tried with 0.9.4.

thus you can make various tests with speedhacks to improve performances.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Use ImgBurn to make ISO's, it's better and free.

Nah, i think only official playground is best but beta after beta become going to worst. I dont have a clue, what is playground destination? What is playground main concept?. Just Seems like delete old code *good* than give new code *bug* or clean this and that without proper explanation "why is that necessary or urgent" all of those in my opinion like we just make complete new one and must leave with old one.

NO. Your CPU runs at 2 ghz, the load is balanced between both cores so it runs faster than a single core. You don't have a 4 ghz cpu.
