zoe2 on pcsx2 1.2.0 crash on boss 01
#1
i was informed to start a new thread. so here it goes

Zone of the Enders: 2nd Runner lag!

working on a ugc project & hardest game i had trouble with is zoe2
after researching & budgiting & planing on building a allinone pc for gaming
i was torn between amd a10-7850k
and a intel core i7-4790 for an ultimate arcade machine.

well, i went with a intel route. i hope its worth it.

i decided to test on my newest build

cpu: core i7:4790 3.6 ghz stock. w-intel 4600 graphics
mombo: asrock h97m pro4
ram: currently 6gb ddr3 1600(bumping to 32gb ddr3 1600
psu: 400 watt
os: win7 u x64 latest drivers.
pcsx2 ver.1.2.1 (5875) oob. standard install

was it worth the time ? not sure. but im on stock so tweaks might be needed.

so far.
minor glitches in zoe2. slow fps during fmvs & boss : crashed on dry run
but almost 60 fps most of the time. trying again. ounce again app crashed on first boss:ardjet
cant use tweaks or speedhacks greyed out. graphics defult to dx9 only.

maybe i screwedup the install ; during plugin, errored requested to download updates?
not sure what else

any help would be appercieated. thanks

Try using a dedicated GPU. I don't see how that can be your all in one gaming PC when you don't even have a graphics card.

u think a r9 gpu will work.

its funny , i never got a crash before.

core i3: low fps begining to end nogpu
a-8 apu: low fps begining to end no gpu

weird

Firstly try the latest Git/development build and don't load your game with a savestate, it could be your savestate has bad data in it.

the case i intend to put this in is small& might not fit a gfx . so as i said just testing on the most gfx intensive game on emu i could find.
