PC Specs? PCSX2 Settings?
Any better description than "crazy sound problems"?
its very difficult to explain !
Sound Problems are not soo important !!
My Sys Specs :
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 2 X 3,0 GHZ
3 GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT
The Graphic Mistakes are most important !
Thx :-D
Ok.... what graphic mistakes then? You still didnt show your plugin and pcsx2 settings.
Yes !!! thats my Problem !
use software mode only that fix it a bit
didnt wanted to make a new thread so ill just post my stuff in here
im running mgs3 subsistence just fine so far except very minor gfx glitches
question 1 : but i was wondering if there is something i can change in my config to make it a little bit better ,faster or something *my config : see attachment*
the worst thing so far is that i cant use savestate ,casues pcsx2 to crash
but using the native ps2 memory card works fine
question 2 : is it possible to backup my savegames by copying the memorycard files from pcsx2 memorycard folder to another location ?
question 3 : is there a way to store the mgs3 config of my pcsx2 settings to some kind of preset ? when i play some other games that dont work well with mgs3 config i dont mess it up but i can easy go back to the mgs3 config by selecting the saved preset ? and save config presets for other games as well ?
windows xp sp3
2gig ram
nvidia gf 260
c2d e6600
thanks in advance !
man use ee sync hacks, and in advanced options put every thing to none and nearest
EE sync hacks + heavy use of Cycle steal will cause massive slowdowns. In games like Metal Gear, I find the game usually plays smoother with Cycle steal high and EE sync hacks low (same for the dot//hack Gu series).
As one of the devs has said previously, turning on 2x EE sync hacks and full VU cycle steal is like running a PS2 at 1/3rd it's speed.
I would recommend disabling MicroVU1 in the CPU options as it's noticabley slower in most games, and you get no benefit out of using it in MGS3.
