Ok this is pretty weird. Sometimes the BIOS screen shows up, but it doesn't detect the DVD-Drive, but most of the time I get this error;

Just a blank window that doesn't do anything.

I am using a .DEB from GetDeb

I really can't figure this out as it just happens at random... T_T'
use pcsx2 0.9.6(beta 1736) because it's better in so many ways than 0.9.4(a few years old) and also many bugs have been resolved, i think that you will not have any problem with the dvds and bios(and many other things Tongue)

Where can I download that? I have looked around and could only find an "SVN" thing, whatever that is. Sad

did you remember to put your disc in dvd rom or mount the iso of your game? or maybe try using linuz iso cdvd 0.9.0 and select the iso directly just make sure it is not corrupt
why dont you try the windows version using the WINE emulator.

runs great for me in kubuntu, and is alot less hastle to setup.

the only thing you want to make sure of is that you have directx installed through wine.
