Hello! i wanted to see if i could get some help optimizing my pcsx....
my specs are
computer 1
cpu:amd pehenom 9950 quadcore 2.6ghz black edition (not phenom II)
motherboard: msi k9n2 premium
3gb ram
nvidia geeforce 6600 (yeah i know old havent gotten round to get anotherone)
computer 2 (laptop)
cpu: amd athlon x2 dual-core ql64 2.1ghz
4gb ram
ati mobile radeon HD 4570 512mb

What games are you trying to play? what is your current settings?
I'd start by trying the latest beta and on that 6600 tick "native" on GSdx, maybe in the 4570 too and enable some speedhacks specially "x2 cycle rate" and "vu cycle stealing" set to slight/moderate could give a big boost.

As I said before try the latest beta it should have better speed compared to 0.9.6, now on the beta enable the "x2 cycle rate" "IOP x2" and "idle fast forward" speedhacks that should give a boost in speed, also setting the clamp modes in "config > advanced" settings can give a boost too but im not sure how well this will play the rest of the game but if you encounter some problem with this settings later on you can try turning them off

Both CPU's are a little slow. Get the beta 1888 package and see if that helps. Also, experiment with some speed hacks and see which yields good results.
