i downloaded the things needed for the emulator but its says that my direct x is not updated even though vista has directx 10. also i dont know the plug ins and bios needed...

my specs are

4gb ddr2 mem
2.16ghtz dualcore
in vista i can't find the video/graphics card (I don't know where find the video card specs)
OS: Vista home premium

please I need help

Just go to Microsoft, or google Directx August 2009 update, and download the End-User Runtime version, about 103Mb.

It's got nothing to do with what version of DirectX you are running, it's more an update for the versions that people are currently running, and includes a bunch of fixes, security and performance updates.

Yeah you can have DirectX10 or even DirectX11 but did you update it? otherwise you only have the base DirectX files which makes it outdated.
