I woul like to know that what is the fps u guy get with the AMD platform? I m thinking to get a new AMD processor, seeking for benchmark.
i using AMD 64 x2 3800+ currently
getting 40 ~ 80 fps most of time.
wondering will a 7850+ run 100%?

i have an athlon x2 5000+ @ 3.0ghz and in FFX with speed hacks i get a solid 60FPS sometimes drops to about 50FPS and with demi it goes to 30FPS....
in other games i bounce around from 40FPS to full speed (depending on the game) dunno about that processor, But the Phenom II 550 BE once OC'd i've heard plays pretty much anything at full speed. and if your board supports it i'd get it, newegg has it for only $100
It really depends on what games you play.

Using stock clock 2.8ghz, I can play most of my games(most of them RPG) at full speed without speed hack or using 1 or 2 speed hacks(eg, idle loop for ffx). Games I can't get full speed @3.1ghz with or without speed hacks are GT4 and Radiata story.
With my rig (Phenom 2 X3 @ 3.7ghz) there are only a few games I can't get 100% speed... MGS3 is a monster in cutscenes for example.
