Hi all, i recently upgreaded my computer to Windows 7 and now when i try to start a game it says "Please update directX" the problem is that i have DirectX11 already... i am using Gsdx SSE41 for the graphic... here my PC spec:

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600)
System Model: Aspire G7700
Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q9450(4 CPUs)~2.7GHz

DirectX Version: DirectX 11
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+
Display Memory: 2289 MB
Dedicated Memory: 497 MB
Shared Memory: 1791 MB

Also when i click the "configure" button it says "error loading ZeroGS.dll"
i never had this problem under windows vista...please help
"Please Update DirectX" doesn't mean update the DirectX API, it simply means update your current DirectX to the very latest version, or the latest patch, if you will. The August 2009 Redist is the one you'll want.

And now I'll suspect, you've made Bositman angry Tongue2
If you have the newest directx then you must have those files(d3dx9_42.dll,d3dx10_42.dll,d3dx11_42.dll)in your C:\Windows\System32 directory

If you don't have them then you don't have the newest directx(the newest beta requires them)
Download and run the DirectX Web Installer: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...laylang=en

Or, if for some reason that doesn't work, download the August 2009 Redist: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...laylang=en
Basically you have Directx11 but on outdated one, please update as the program told you to Tongue
okay, now it works, thank you TongueTongue
