i'm trying to play final fantasy x but i can not get my fps above 40 or so.
no matter what configuration i use , and its really iritating, can someone help me out?
What is your system specs? what PCSX2 version and what settings?

my specs are:
AMD Turion Dual-Core RM - 75 2.2GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G
Vista Home 6.0
i have PCSX2 0.9.6
i'm using GSdx 2 config on Direct3D 10
you may try latest gsdx & pcsx2 betas, it couls help.
But keep in mind your GPU is quite weak for pcsx2
i forgot to write on my system specs that i have 3GB RAM
won't change anything. Your GPU is the bottleneck, here.
the beta actually made it go slower
post your pcsx2 settings, please.
Use the beta, enable some speedhacks and tick "native" in GSdx not much can be done about it really.
