Whoa, this new feature is great. It made star ocean 3 from almost unplayable to fully playable. What is it doing exactly, is it skipping frames?

For me star ocean 3 went from 70% to 100% in battles when I upped the VU Cycle steal.

did you notices movements of the characters became slower? (like in slow motion?)
i set it only to 2nd (minor) position. Higher settings do weird things to time and space
