What is microVU? Is it supposed to speed up the emulator, or increase stability?

When/if perfect emulation is reached, does that mean slower or faster speeds?

Just curious.

With the only difference it is very stable these days and practically replaced the old 'superVU'

Will mostly depend on your hardware. speed isn't the top priority. Accuracy is;
